Abstract/Contents: | A description of the history and purpose of the Golf Service Bureau of Pittsburgh, which was founded in 1926. One the bureaus main activities is to offer advice on the care of golf turf. It also purchases seed, fertilizers, mowers and other necessities for golf courses and then sold wholesale to its members. The bureau is also involved in research and has established two demonstration turf gardens. |
