Abstract/Contents: | Regional tables are given of annual rainfall from 1925-1930. "The accompanying rainfall tables ... are presented to bring out the extreme variability in the amount of moisture supplied naturally in many of the chief golfing districts of the country. ... A general comparison of tables and comments on them clearly show how impracticable it is for anyone to set up definite rules for artificial watering to be carried out successfully without regard for the natural rainfall. |
