| Abstract/Contents: | "Results from a turf grass variety trial 1969-1971 in Stockholm is [are] presented. 41 varieties of Poa pratensis were tested. The best varieties were Baron, Fylking, Merion, Sydsport, Windsor, WW Ă„g 401 and WW Ă„g 407. Among the 16 varieties of Festuca rubra, Dawson, Polar and Rolax were top ranked. Boral, Brabantia and Tracenta ranked best of the Agrostis varieties. None of the ryegrasses were good. However, Viris was slightly better than Stadion. The varieties of Phleum nodosum behaved similar although Evergreen slightly better." |
