Abstract/Contents:Discusses Buffalo grass (Buchloe dactyloides), a naturally occurring grass in the Plains States. In transplanting Buffalo grass the following topics were covered: source of supply of sods, cutting of sods, rate of transplanting, optimum transplanting season, sizes of sods, width of spacing, precautions in transplanting, methods of resodding large areas, and broadcasting the turf. Also discusses treatment after transplanting or broadcasting.
