Abstract/Contents:Describes the advantages to the practice of employing two greens for each hole, one designed with summer play in mind and the other with winter play. Bermuda grass is the choice summer grass, while Italian ryegrass has become the preferred winter turf. Methods for maintenance of the winter turf during the course of the summer and vice versa are described.
