Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the tremendous problems encountered with the eradication of nut grass, as its surface removal still leaves the tubers which can produce yet another verile plant in a short time. One it has a foothold on a golf green, it is very difficult to remove without killing the turfgrass as well. Of the chemicals tested, common table salt, calcium chloride and sodium chlorate have demonstrated the best results. |
