There are now five Green Section Regional Offices located in various parts of the United States. The duties of the Green Section fall into several categories." Categories include: Direct service to the golf clubs which are subscribers to the USGA Regional Turf Service, Providing certain publications on the maintenance of golf courses, research and education, coordination of turfgrass research efforts at institutions throughout the nation, and the participation of Green Section members at turfgrass conferences. |
