| Abstract/Contents: | Announces the founding of the National Turfgrass Council on October 21, 1980. The by laws (Satzung) were drawn up largely by Mr. J. R. Escritt. Mr. M. J. Chance of the Association of Playing Fields Officers and Landscape Managers was chosen to head the council, and Mr. J. P. Shildrick of the Sports Turf Research Institute was elected secretary. A brief summary of purpose follows. |
