Abstract/Contents: | Briefly summarizes some of the improvements in the various facets of golf course maintenance, including fertilization, irrigation, disease and weed control, mowing, topdressing, and labor relations. In addition, the recent increase in the numbers of different turfgrasses being used is discussed, and it is strongly suggested that a means of categorizing these grasses be devised to eliminate duplications or inaccuracies. A call for a greater expentidure for research concludes the article. |
