Abstract/Contents:Reports that country clubs did not fare quite as well in 1955 as oppossed to 1954, primarily due to the ever rising costs of maintenance and of running their clubhouses. Eighteen small country clubs, 14 large and 2 very large country clubs were studied to reach these conclusions. All but two of these clubs were examined in determining the status of country clubs in the review of 1954. A percentage breakdown of how each dollar was spent in 1955 as opposed to 1954 is given, and tables break down the total expenditures of each grouping of club.
