Abstract/Contents: | Gives an overview of country club operations and earnings for the year 1956. In general, although both large and small clubs showed a pronounced increase in funds, the rising costs of operation negated any surplus in all but the large clubs. A breakdown of how each dollar was spent by large and small clubs as well as tables giving nearly complete data regarding earnings/expenditures for the past year comprise the bulk of the article. Overall, the cost of maintaining the grounds rose about 3-4%. |
