Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the minimum maintenance of golf courses while they are closed to play, more specifically, courses closed due to WWII. Some suggested methods of maintenance include: mowing less frequently and setting mower higher, using substances such as Thiosan to treat disease, light fertilization, moderate watering, and light care of fairways and rough through mowing. Suggests cutting rough and selling as hay. |
