| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the fertilization of Bermuda greens before overseeding with ryegrass; manipulating the plant through the application of fertilizer, topdressing, and water. Suggests to stop fertilizing with nitrogen a month before overseeding with ryegrass. Green's acidity should be between 4.0 to 5.0. Recommends topdressing low in organic material, renovation of grass 2 to 4 weeks before seeding, treating the greens with a fungicide before and after seeding, watering newly seeded greens often, and starting nitrogen fertilizer only after the grass has become well established. |
