Abstract/Contents:Analyizing the costs of running the golf course over the past year, the author concludes that the vast bulk of the rising costs stem from labor salaries, and those mostly from non-maintenance sources. As maintenance has already been increasingly mechanized, it has already offset this trend to an extent. The importance of determining long range maintenance goals is of vast importance though, if maintenance costs are to remain as low as possible.
