Abstract/Contents:Discusses organic fertilizers that may be used as a substitute to nitrogen fertilizers, due to the ban on nitrogen except on military airfields. Seed meals were found to be promising. Blood, animal manure, and bone meal are also sources of organic fertilizers for turf purposes. Animal manure and bone meal were found to be good nitrogen sources.
