Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of arsenate of lead for the control of the Japanese beetle. However, a substitute has been found in the milky white disease. The disease has been found to control the Japanese beetle population. When diseased grubs disintegrate, spores are released into the soil. These spores then continue to infect other grubs. The spores are not harmful to man or any other animals. |
