Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the problems of controlling mole crickets. A bait has been developed by the Department of Agriculture that has been found to destroy both species of mole crickets. The active ingredient in the bait is sodium fluosilicate, which unfortunately is harmful to young plants. It is advised that it only be tested on small plots of turf. |
