Abstract/Contents: | Tests performed both in a laboratory and in the field to ascertain the effects of temperature upon the development of the roots of Agrostis concluded that roots exposed to constant temperatures of 90 degrees F demonstrated significant loss of both mass, depth and organic matter. Temperatures as high as 80 degrees still proved beneficial. |
