Abstract/Contents: | Describes the function of a one inch spring operated gate valve in the radius supply pipe and a valve control pin attached to the reel drum that acts to cease the functioning of the sprinkler should the grounding stake come out or should either of the guide wires come undone. This serves as an added safety feature as sprinklers can cause immense damage if they do not function properly. |
