Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the hopes of Robert Munro Clarke to restore Beaver Tail Golf Links on Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. The nine-hole course was designed by famed architect A.W. Tillinghast, creating more incentive to restore the course to its original condition rather than opening a new course on the abandoned site. There are environmental factors which have acted on the land in its fifty years of dormancy which complicate the process of restoration. |
