Abstract/Contents:"Forty seven preemergence herbicide treatments were applied to a mixed Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.), fine fescue (Festuca spp.), and perennial ryegrass (Lolim perenne L.) turfgrass stand on April 26 and 27, 1994 to assess the control of smooth crabgrass. Sprayed materials with a two-nozzle CO(2) backpack and granular formulations were applied with a shaker bottle. All treatments were watered in with the equivalent of 0.5 inches of water. Initial crabgrass germination occurred on May 3, 1994."
