Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the Oregon Blue Tag Certification label. "It [the blue tag] is usually affixed adjacent to the white seed label and is the very best assurance that the seed in the bag is genetically pure and meets with the industry's bench mark of quality - The Oregon Seed Certification Program." Describes the characteristics necessary for a variety to be considered for certification. All stages of seed production are supervised and the seed is also sampled for impurities. |
