| Abstract/Contents: | "NTEP releases annual updates of the results of their ongoing evaluation programs for cool-season grasses: bluegrass, ryegrass, fine fescue, tall fescue, and bentgrass. When considering the NTEP data tables, there is a figure that needs special attention at the bottom of each numerical column - the LSD value. This LSD value, or least significant difference, is a tool for statistical analysis, which is used where one member of a group is compared to all the other members of that group. To identify the NTEP results that are relevant to your needs, examine the table of "Locations Submitting Data" and mark the locations that most closely approximate the climate of your location. Use this list of locations as the basic criteria for identifying the data that you should use to make your seed-buying decisions." |
