Abstract/Contents: | "Public parks are rarely found in shopping centres, and so the Castle Green Public Park in Norwich would be innovative for this reason alone. But there is another factor that surely makes this park, part of the new Castle Mall Development in the city centre, unique: it is on the roof of the complex!" Discusses the innovative design involved in the planning of the garden. Other parks that received awards were: Kinning Park Parish Church, St Rollox railway goods yard, the Hanstead Hall Estate at Bricket Wood, St. Albans, the Hampshire Corporate Park, the Harrogate Town Pately Bridge and the Greenwich Royal Park. |
