Abstract/Contents: | "For proper nitrogen application there needs to be a balance and most fertilization programs suggest a Nitrogen to Phosphorus to Potassiom balance of 3-1-2 for cool-season grasses such as Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue or creeping bentgrass and a balance of 4-1-3 for the warm-season grasses such as bermudagrass or St. Augustinegrass." Discusses proper selection of nitrogen sources, quickly and slowly available nitrogen carriers, slowly soluble liquid nitrogen, and the effect of liquid application of water soluble nitrogen. |
