Abstract/Contents:Discusses research done in Hawaii to determine turfgrasses suitable for Florida's winter months, the peak of tourist season which demands top quality, green turfgrass. Relates difficulties experienced by those in Florida's turf industry caused by limited water resources which have led to increasing salinity problems due to overpumping. Specifies the types of grasses used in research as well as discoveries about tolerances is certain grasses.
