Abstract/Contents:"Links courses on dune sand are recognised as providing the best challenge for golf as well as optimal all-year-round conditions for play. Because of their coastal location, links frequently experience problems quite different to those on inland courses. These are erosion, sand blow, salt spray, drought, and particular diseases and pests...Here consideration is given to subsequent maintenance of new and not so new link courses."
