Abstract/Contents: | "One of the objectives of the buffalograss breeding project is to develop a good quality buffalograss that is well adapted to Missouri. Several years ago, we selected a natural buffalograss growing in central Missouri and subsequently propagated it at South Farm. This cultivar (MOB1-1) was selected for cold and close mowing tolerance, early green up and disease resistance. MOB1-1 may be released as early as the summer of 1994." |
