Abstract/Contents:An evaluation of effectiveness of fungicides for dollar spot control over 3 two-week periods. Application rates varied with plots and different fungicides. "This site was inoculated with dollar spot on 10-13-93. Each plot received inoculum distributed through the center of the plot. Greenhouse cooling mats were placed in the center of the plot to keep humidity and night time temperatures in the desirable range. Mycelium would grow over night under the covers. No treatment had any phyto observed. All treatments were significantly better than the control (66% infection). Rubigan and Eagle were equal with infection rates in the teens (13 and 11%). All other treatments were excellent with infection rates of 8% or less. Fluaziman was the best overall treatment followed by the broadway combination."
