| Abstract/Contents: | MON 12051 was evaluated against Basagran and MSMA for postemergence control of yellow nutsedge. MON 12051 were applied on June 29, 1993 and July 13, 1993, and turfgrass was rated from July 7 through August 15, 1993 at a two-week interval. Basagran and MSMA were applied at the same time. "All treatments were sprayed on Ky. Bluegrass and an area infested with yelellow netsedge. No phyto was observed with any treatment. Evaluations on yellow netsedge are given as percent control. Control of sedge with MON 12051 was excellent ranging in the 90s. Basagran gave about 90% control. Basagran plus MSMA gave good control of sedge with only one application. Sequential applications of MSMA gave only fair control." |
