| Abstract/Contents: | MON 12051 was evaluated for pre-plant effect. The herbicide was appplied from August 17 through September 22, 1993 and turfgrass was rated on October 20, 1993. "This study was scheduled for 30 and 15 day pre-plant treatments, however on the scheduled day of planting 3.58" of rain fell. With cool temperatures, the first available date to plant was 9-22-93. As of 10-20-93, all species have emerged with no visible phyto. Color, quality, and stand look excellent. Stand reduction was taken on a scale of 0-100%, all treatments were 0. Quality was taken on a scale of 1-10 with 10 equal to the best, all treatments were 10. There isn't much more to say at this time, something could show up at a much later date when rooting depths increase. We will continue to monitor these treatments this fall, but we do not expect any changes." |
