Abstract/Contents:Discusses the difference and characteristics of some bermudagrass cultivars. Looks at the problems of drainage when growing bermudagrass. "Two of the biggest contributors I have seen that can cause poor drainage are suspended solids in effluent water and high sodium level buildup from irrigation water sources. To combat these problems, a strong aerification and top-dressing program is used in conjunction with a fertility program." Also addresses mowing methods, and the major contributors to determine the speeds of the putting surfaces.
