| Abstract/Contents: | "An experiment was designed with following objectives: 1. To define the mechanism(s) in treatments with Aliette and Fore fungicide combinations that have resulted in improved turf quality. 2. To examine the effect(s) of individual nutrients provided in formulations of Aliette and Fore fungicides. 3. To examine the effect(s) of combinations of individual nutrients provided in formulations of Aliette and Fore fungicides...In 1995, plots treated with the Aliette+Fore combination received among the highest ratings for turf quality and shoot growth. However, treatments of H₃PO₃ (phosphorous acid) + Mancozeb and H₃PO₃ + Fore, Fore + Mancezeb and Aliette + Mancozeb resutled in turf quality similar to Aliette + Fore, and significantly higher turf quality ratings than the rest of the treatments...Measurements of brown patch occurrence yielded similar results. Treatmetns of Aliette + Fore, H₃PO₃ + Fore, H₃PO₃ + Mancozeb, and Aliette + Mancozeb, all held brown patch to less than 25% of the respective plots in 1995." |
