| Abstract/Contents: | "The area of open countryside is becoming less and less due to the expansion of the cities and the building of roads etc. The maintenance of a healthy and pleasant countryside is therefore all the more important. The control of mountain rivers with technical as well as biological (e.g. Forestry) means must fit properly into the landscape because each river course is a focal point in the countryside. The examination of suitable measures can be done with an index. The basic principles of this index method as well as a proposal for such an index are given in this paper." |
