Abstract/Contents:1996 proposal for research on the effect of humic acid application on the growth and stress tolerance of creeping bentgrass. Lists objectives as: "1. To determine the effect of foliar applications of HA on turfgrass growth and nutrient uptake.", "2. To observe the effects of HA application on the field performance of a creeping bentgrass putting green.", "3. To evaluate turfgrass photosynthesis, chlorophyll content and respiration in response to HA's.", and "4. To determine the influence of HA materials on the salt tolerance and high temperature tolerance of creeping bentgrass." Also details justification and a description of the research and a short description of the methods that will be employed.
