Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of harmful pesticides around rental properties, and ways to change the pest management practices of landlords and condominium managers. Steps include; finding out what kind of pesticides are used, and their active ingredients, hazards of those pesticides, talking with those involved in the decision to use pesticides, trying to add an amendment to your rental agreement, getting a bigger group together to confront the manager/landlord about the problem, getting your town to adopt an ordinance. If there has already been exposure to pesticides, there are legal actions that can be taken. |
