Abstract/Contents: | A letter to the editor from the owners of the Grand View Golf course, in response to an article previously written by Ron Whitten, "Why plaid is bad", concerning the "cosmetic" crosshatched plaid hills at the Grand View Golf course. There is also a response from Ron Whitten, stating that the plaid hill "provides environmentalists with ammunition that golf is an elitist game, where no expense is spared to provide manicured playgrounds for people who care nothing about the environment." |
