Abstract/Contents:Discusses the 1993 Best Architect, and the Best Associate awards, which were awarded to Tom Fazio, and Andy Banfield. Banfield grew up in Connecticut, caddying and playing junior golf. He later went on to get a degree in mining engineering, but he ended up deciding to design golf courses. He was taught by Lou Cappelli and Tom Fazio. Fazio says that Banfield is "the perfectionist looking to get more detail, to get it right."
