| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a recent incident involving Ron Weaver, the mayor of Tallahassee, Florida. Weaver had been practicing before the course opened, and when a golf course employee asked him to leave, the mayor continued to practice. The golf course employee, Mike Osley, then turned on the sprinklers and soaked the mayor. Osley was suspended for one week without pay, which provoked Tallahassee citizens to stand up for Osley, raising money to make up for his lost wages. The mayor and Osley apologized to each other, but Osleys' suspension was not lifted. |
