Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the golf course irrigation trends of Arizona. Water in Arizona has become very expensive, which has led to courses seeking out alternative methods of irrigation. Golf courses in Scottsdale were mainly using groundwater which ended up drying out residential wells. The golf courses then constructed a huge water pipe for themselves, and this has proven to be successful. For each region of Arizona the water needs are different, and so are the means that these courses acquire their water. |
