| Abstract/Contents: | "Consistency and quality are required to promote the procurement of compost in large scale landscaping and highway projects. The authors address what they call 'the topsoil problem and the need for compost in designed soil.' Biosolids compost must meet EPA Part 503 Grade A 'exceptional quality' requirements." Lists the parameters and specifications for compost quality. Also discusses the availability, costs and conformance of compost. |
