Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the rampant construction of golf courses worldwide, and the environmental problems that these courses are causing. States that the golf courses of today are using too many chemicals, too much water, and that the green fees are too expensive, making the game inaccessible to people with low incomes. Also discusses the recent activism to stop golf course construction in countries such as Japan, Korea, Mexico, China, and the United States. |
