Abstract/Contents: | "Festuca arundinacea was grown at high and low wind-speeds at two levels of soil water. Transpiration was increased at high wind-speed and accompanied by leaf water stress. Growth of leaf area was progressively reduced according to the severity of the experimental treatments in the sequence: wet soil and low wind; dry soil and low wind; wet soil and high wind; dry soil and high wind. The leaf water potential was also reduced in this sequence." |
