Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a golf course that's located in Quarryville, PA. Emory Wagner and Oliver Armstrong founded the course in 1967. "Tanglewood Manor, a public course, is golf-free on the seventh day because of the personal feelings of two of the club's founders...On the surface, the club's location in the middle of the deeply traditional Amish country might seemingly explain the oddity of the club's Sunday abstinence from the ancient game." The course is currently undergoing renovations. |
