| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses turf management in the Midwest for the year 1995. Cites the many maintenance difficulties which arose due to "unusually stressful weather patterns" during the summer. Elaborates on the following: losses of Poa annua, high temperatures and high humidity, irrigation practices, root depth and diseases. Lists maintenance practices which helped superintendents endure the harsh weather conditions as well as those which led to further injuries. |
