Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the composting program in Bellmawr, New Jersey. The program started in 1979, and by 1996 there were 19 communities involved. The program recycles 120,000 cubic yards of grass and leaves using a windrow turner. The material is then bagged, sold in bulk, blended with topsoil, or sold as mulch. |
