Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the differences between homeowners' insurance policies and flood insurance policies coverages related to water damage. Flood insurance covers any damage that results from a body of water rising. Homeowners' insurance covers water damage to the home, such as when leaking roofs, pipes, and broken windows allow water to enter and damage the home. Also discusses chosing the right or both policies for you. |
