Abstract/Contents: | Discusses research to improve the quality of different turfgrass varieties. Discusses problems that are involved with this research, and describes the battle between turf and Poa annua. Also discusses alternative methods being tested in Oregon to control Poa annua, such as developing a grass that can compete with Poa annua, and using a natural-occurring fungus, Colletotrichum graminicola to control the bluegrass. |
