Abstract/Contents: | Refutes the statements made in a product feature article in the May, 1994 issue of Golf Course News. The article claimed that aeration is the key to water quality, and that bad pond irrigation water is the cause of algae growth on tees. In reply, Jim Connolly states that aerification is not the only key to healthy water, and claims that "aeration companies are taking advantage of golf course superintendents who are not informed in this area." |
