| Abstract/Contents: | "'Eagleton' Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) (Reg. no. CV-50, PI 594919) was developed and released in 1996 by Lofts Seed Inc., of Somerset, NJ, using germplasm obtained from the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station...Eagleton originated as a single, highly apomictic plant selected from the grounds of Woodlawn, home of Eagleton Institute... Breeder seed of Eagleton will be produced and maintained by Lofts Seed Inc., in cooperation with the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station. Seed production is restricted to three cycles of increase from breeder seed, one each of foundation, registered and certified.." |
